Covers syrup history; the forest resource; sugarbush planning and management; all phases of sap and syrup production; syrup filtration, grading and packing; and syrup marketing. Developed by the Massachusetts Maple Producers Association and Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom for teaching elementary school children "all about maple sugaring". Forty loose-leaf pages (for ease in copying), covering the subjects of history, math, art, vocabulary, science, and the environment.
